4.-7. 4. 2025
Popoldan smo nato obiskali interaktivni muzej Camp Nou, v katerem smo preko zgodovinskih trenutkov, legendarnih igralcev in zmagoslavij potovali skozi preteklost, sedanjost in prihodnost Barce.
Excursion to Barcelona
April 4–7, 2025
With eager anticipation, we departed from Maribor in the early morning hours, taking a bus to Zagreb Airport, where we boarded our flight to Barcelona. The journey passed quickly, and upon landing, we travelled to the small Catalonian town of Figueres, where we visited the museum of one of the most controversial artists of all time, Salvador Dalí. After exploring the incredibly fascinating museum—where the artist is also buried—we continued toward a coastal resort town, where we checked into a hotel for the night.
The next morning, after a delicious breakfast, we headed into Barcelona. Our first stop was Montjuïc and the Olympic Stadium, which offered a stunning view of the city. As we descended the hill, we were greeted at the bottom by the statue of Christopher Columbus, pointing toward America. We passed by La Pedrera, one of Gaudí’s masterpieces, and continued toward his ultimate vision—Sagrada Família, one of the few cathedrals in the world still under construction. After some free time to enjoy a delicious lunch of our choice, we moved on to Plaça de Catalunya, the city’s vibrant centre, bustling with shops, street artists, pigeons, and more. Our exploration continued along La Rambla—the city’s most famous promenade—and ended in the Gothic Quarter, Barri Gòtic. Pleasantly exhausted, we returned to our hotel, where dinner was followed by a restful night.
On the final day of our journey, after breakfast, we visited one of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona—Park Güell—and spent some time exploring its wonders. In the afternoon, we toured the interactive museum of Camp Nou, where we travelled through the history, legendary players, and triumphs of Barça—from past to present and into the future. After the lively visit and some shopping at the Barça store, we headed to the airport in Barcelona, where we caught a flight to Trieste. Upon arrival, a bus was waiting to take us back to Maribor, where we returned in the early morning hours, full of new impressions and memories.
